Day 2 of HRPT 2016 dawned clear in Louisiana, if a bit muggy. The RideTech crew hit the road a bit early; and so did hundreds of other participants! We saw as many great cars on the road as we did in the lot; the Tour really is like a huge mobile car show!
We arrived safely at the next stop in Baytown, TX, shortly after noon. We had a short walkthrough of the near lot, and got to see a few participants make their runs down the dragstrip…but shortly after that, word came through that a bad storm was streaking straight towards us and participants started heading for safer ground. We got everything packed away safely before the storm hit, but the rain looked like it was going to hang around awhile, so it was back to the hotel we went.
