Hot Rod Power Tour 2016, Day 3

Monday brought us an absolutely spectacular drive! The scenery was fantastic, when you weren’t busy checking out the rest of the cars along the route! There was also a surprising turnout of spectators along the drive, camped out next to the road on street corners and checking out the passing cars. If you were among those, thank you for coming out, we’re sure you got a great show!!

We arrived at Circuit of the Americas a little after noon; this is my first visit to this particular venue, and it was amazing! The lots were packed; there seemed to be more cars at this stop than the last two, combined. This stop also featured an autocross sponsored by Mothers Polishes; Bret and Chris took the StreetGRIP cars out for a couple of blistering laps, but we decided to leave the action to the huge amount of newcomers flocking to the course. We’re going to be heading out ahead of the pack on Tuesday morning, so we can bring you a livestream of the participants as they roll into the next venue in Grand Prairie.
