Some of the Stay Tuned YT channel faithful may remember this car that came together back in 2024. It’s a ’55 Chevy that Tony and his team stuffed an 800 horsepower NASCAR V8 into. After that they quickly realized that while entirely fun and smile inducing, it left a lot to be desired in the application of that horsepower to the pavement. It also doesn’t happen to turn left or right very well either.
In this episode the team begins disassembling the ’55 to right those problem areas. After removing the factory frame, they point out all the questionable work that had befallen the car in its prior 70 years and start to address all the problem areas.
This episode is the precursor to the installation of our full suspension install.
The crew intends not only to get this car back on the street in a better handling and enjoyable fashion, but it is also destined for participation in Hot Rod Drag Week later this year.
