Ridetech F/X-Body 2” Drop Steel Leaf Springs

Ridetech is pleased to announce the release of their Two-Inch Drop Steel Leaf Spring Sets for first and second gen F-Body (1969-1981 Camaro/Firebird) and third gen X-Body (1968-1974 Nova) platforms.

While leaf springs may look fine, looks are often deceiving. Leaf springs actually do wear out and lose some of their rate and height over time, which leads to handling that is worse than stock. If you’re looking to lower the rear of your F- or X-Body (Nova) and improve performance while retaining a leaf spring setup, Ridetech’s steel leafs are a great solution. They lower the rear by 2” from factory while maintaining great ride quality thanks to the 175 lb/in spring rate, which also adds a more sporty feel out back.

Additionally, these leaf spring sets include shackles, Delrin bushings, and all necessary hardware for a seamless installation. These leaf springs withstand the elements thanks to an epoxy/graphite primer and black topcoat. For those needing to replace more of their classic’s suspension than the leaf springs alone, these steel leafs combine with our 1.5” steel body RQ-S shocks super well and can be ordered in a complete StreetGRIP system that transforms the handling, performance and ride quality of the F-Body or X-body you’re building out.
