RideTech has commissioned Kaleb Kelley of the Classics Daily Instagram to help bring you some of the best 2015 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour coverage available this week. Here’s yesterday’s gallery and recap from Kaleb. “The first leg of the tour took us from Madison, WI to Champaign, IL. The first half in Wisconsin was filled with beautiful roads and fantastic views, but the closer we got to Chicago, the less pleasant it became. Heidts hosted a hospitality stop to let everybody check out the shop, but we skipped it since we saw it last year. Instead, we stopped at the Volo Auto Museum right off that route and it was worth the stop. Tons of super cool cars and a few really nice ones for sale. The route that Hot Rod mapped for everybody was clogged up miles back on 59 south. Instead of waiting forever in the traffic and getting to the venue after the sun was gone, we took an alternate route. This took us on the highways straight through Chicago traffic and toll roads. Even with this quicker route, we didn’t get there until 4:30! That route was not well planned because of the stop signs, but I’m sure tomorrow’s route to Madison, IL will be much better! Stay tuned to see the cars on the way to Madison tomorrow!” – Kaleb
