The RideTech racing season typically starts and ends in Scottsdale at the Goodguys autocross. In the spring, the warm weather of  Scottsdale is much anticipated as the opportunity to try out any new changes we’ve made over the winter.  In the fall, Scottsdale means the year-ending autocross shootout and then some much needed downtime for the rest of the winter!

The RideTech cars did quite well this year with Chris Smith qualifying the 48 Hour Corvette in the 5th position and Bret Voelkel putting the 48 Hour Camaro in the 16th qualifying position for the 32 car shootout.

We are very proud of how the RideTech cars ended up this season. The changes that have been made have improved the performance by a nice margin and positioned us nicely for the upcoming season.

The Lingenfelter engines have performed without any incident whatsoever…what a great investment in reliability!

The Baer brakes have provided our perfect stopping power, even in the face of significantly increased speeds.

The new Currie 9″ IRS that we have developed for the Corvette has performed flawlessly and has been a real help for durability.

Everyone seems to love the new fender flares on the Corvette from Custom Image Corvette…and they make room for the wider Forgeline wheels and 315/335 mm BFG tires to increase grip.

It is sometimes easy to overlook the seamless performance of the Vintage Air AC unit and Frontrunner. They work flawlessly in spite of the constant abuse that we heap on them 22 weekends per year!

We’ve experienced the same seamless performance from Snap On ToolsClassic Instruments, Kicker Stereo, RacePack data systems, American Autowire, Borgeson Steering Boxes, Optima BatteriesDynotech Driveshafts, Macs Tiedowns, Centerforce clutches, Bowler Transmissions, Holley EFI, C&R radiator, MSD Ignition, and Spectre products. Since these parts never cause us any problems, we can spend more time making our cars faster!

Thanks to all these companies for making parts that withstand our abuse…it means the world to us.
