Summer is heating up, and we’re hitting the road in early July for two of our favorite Goodguys events. First, we’ll be in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 2nd-4th for the Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals. Now in its 30th year, the show brings more than 4,000 of the region’s best hot rods, customs and street machines to the Iowa State Fairgrounds for a weekend of high-horsepower fun.

Just like in years past, the schedule is jam-packed. In addition to the show, there will be the tire-screeching CPP “Duel in Des Moines” AutoCross, fire-breathing front engine dragsters at the Nitro Thunderfest, and tons of treasure at the swap meet and car corral. We’ll have our booth set up in the manufacturers midway, so make sure to swing by to say hello and check out the newest additions to our lineup.

Once the show in Iowa comes to a close, we’ll head to Columbus, Ohio, for the biggest Goodguys event of the year—the Summit Racing Nationals. From July 9th-11th, close to 7,000 vintage machines will fill the Ohio Expo Center for an unforgettable weekend.

Between the show, the burnout contest and the 16-car AutoCross shootout, there’s a whole lot to look forward to. We’re particularly excited for the crowning of the 2021 Street Machine of the Year and Street Rod of the Year titles, both of which will take place in Columbus.
