This weekend, thousands of hot rods and street machines are rolling into Columbus, Ohio, for the biggest Goodguys event of the year. Despite gray skies and a light drizzle, car owners and spectators alike wasted little time getting to the Expo Center to take in the sights, smells and sounds of a show like none other.
Now in its 23rd year, the Summit Racing Nationals features a diverse blend of old and new. Walking the grounds, it’s immediately clear that there was a high quantity of high-quality cars in attendance. Everywhere you look you’ll find something worth checking out, whether it’s a slammed wagon on air, a pickup ripping through the AutoCross course or a lowrider propped up on three wheels. Between the cars, the racing action and the swap meet, there’s something for everyone in Columbus.
Just like in years past, we set up our booth in the Manufacturers Midway. We had a great time catching up with old friends and making new ones.
