This past weekend, RideTech Josh got to head out to Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, and here’s his report on the state of affairs:
“The weather in Myrtle Beach during Mustang Week was nothing short of nice, a little humid, but great weather for the show! By the time we arrived on Wednesday, the main events were almost over for the day so we took in the nice weather and checked out the Mustangs that were taking over almost every parking lot in the city. On Thursday, we were up bright and early with my ready for the autocross at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Tim Schoch, Ron Schoch, Carl Garrison and myself were all Ridetech equipped and ready to rock. The cars all performed flawlessly in the South Carolina heat. Tim ended up winning a trip to Sema and a set of tires from BFG for his performance in the autocross. The car show was held in the Bass Pro shop parking lot on Friday and Saturday. It was PACKED! The car show was sold out and the parking lot was completely full of participants and spectators. Ridetech was also very welcomed by many as it was our first year set up at this show, the booth stayed extremely busy with people interested by the new venue.”

Amanda also attended a local SCCA event, and here’s what she had to say:
“While Sunday was a nearly unbearably hot day, there were still several cars that showed up to Southern Indiana Region’s SCCA solo event held at Mid America Air Center in Lawrenceville, Illinois. This week Tom stayed home recovering from his win at Motor State, but Amanda was still able to hold down the fort. While fighting through the humidity, the RideTech C5Z was still able to grab the 3rd fastest time on street tires, 1st in its class, and the fastest Corvette of the day. We have been making it out to a lot of SCCA events this year and believe that these are truly great events for both seasoned drivers and beginners alike. While the competition is stiff, it is also a great atmosphere to learn and work on improving your skills. We hope to see you at the next event!”
