Automotive Suspension giant RideTech is pleased to announce that the company’s General Manager, B.J. Elmore, has been appointed Chairman-Elect of the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s Hot Rod Industry Alliance.  Mr. Elmore’s election to this position adds a new dimension to his long list of accomplishments in the automotive aftermarket. The same leadership skills that have helped RideTech achieve record growth over the last five years will be shared with the Hot Rod Industry Alliance and its member companies.  “I’m excited to serve as Chairman of the HRIA, and feel fortunate to be part of a Select Committee that is passionate about the hot rod industry as a whole, as well as for their own businesses,” Elmore said. “One of the HRIA’s many critical tasks is its ongoing effort to communicate the many HRIA benefits and resources available to member companies. SEMA and the Hot Rod Industry Alliance have a proven track record for positively impacting member businesses.”

After joining RideTech in 2004, B.J. has advanced through the company from his original role in sales, through new business development, inventory control, information technology, and financial management; culminating with his promotion as RideTech’s General Manager in 2012.  B.J. is committed to serving the business development needs of HRIA member companies as well as sharing new ideas about how the industry is evolving.  At age 36, B.J. is also committed to encouraging growth amongst automotive enthusiasts under the age of 40 – a demographic segment that is showing strong growth at RideTech.  Bret Voelkel, RideTech’s President and founder, commented: “The entire RideTech team and I are proud of B.J.’s appointment as HRIA Chairman-Elect. He’s a natural leader with great appreciation and enthusiasm for the HRIA community, and the whole automotive industry.”
