Recently we picked up a 2023 RAM at Ridetech HQ. Not only is it handy to have a truck around the office for hauling here and there, but it’s also a great platform to showcase our recently released Ridetech lowering kits. These kits truly transform these pickups into modern day street trucks.
In fact, Direct Connection (Mopar) just recently adopted the same kit we’re installing our on truck on their recently announced DC650 RAMs. Now, we understand some of you out there may already have a RAM and won’t be visiting your local dealer to nab an upfitted model. BUT, you might be open to bolting some of the SAME parts onto your current gen RAM and enjoying the SAME performance.
In this episode we’re installing a Whipple blower on our 5.7L Hemi E-Torque RAM. After the horsepower infusion is complete, we’ll be adding the correct amount of handling thanks to our full performance coil-over lowering system that includes our HQ single adjustable Ridetech coil-overs, and front upper control arms. Out back the truck will receive Ridetech’s beefy upper and lower control arms to help combat the traction issue the Whipple will attempt to induce with every stab of the throttle.
With the ideal suspension in place, we’ll then add the pièce de résistance when it comes to wheels thanks to a set of fresh set of 24” wheels from our friends at Vossen.
