Ridetech Recap | Barrett Jackson @ Scottsdale

Ridetech had a big presence at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this year, an event that’s become a staple in the automotive lifestyle world. Picture this: thousands of stunning cars, each one more coveted than the last, parading across the auction block in an exciting atmosphere that’s internationally televised. We had the best spot to soak it all in, right at our expansive 80-foot display on the outdoor midway, where the excitement buzzed as the auction cars lined up in the staging lanes.

This year, we were thrilled to have several dealers join us, including Summit Racing, Shelby, Hennessey, Superformance, Scotts Hot Rods, and Coffman Corvette. Each brought their A-game, showcasing some jaw-dropping vehicles and parts that highlighted the incredible craftsmanship our partners are known for.

In our booth, we also showcased some exciting new products that had attendees buzzing with enthusiasm. We had everything from the front suspension for 1965-1979 Ford F100s to a newly revised 1967-1969 Camaro rear 4-link assembly paired with our new Ridetech 9” housing. Plus, our IRS and SLA suspension systems for the 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustangs were a hit.

This year we featured a few customer vehicles including Big 10 Garage’s 1969 C10 build equipped with our complete coil-over system, which drew plenty of attention. And let’s not forget the eye-catching 1965 Malibu and 1970 Chevelle from Switch Suspension, Featuring our complete coil-over suspension systems. These rides were more than just cars; they were pieces of art!

The weather was mostly sunny but had its moments of wind, with temperatures hovering in the low 60s, which made for a refreshing experience being from the Midwest, where the temperatures were near zero. The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction was a spectacle, with over 2,000 vehicles crossing the block and a record-breaking total of $168 million in sales. It was thrilling to see such a diverse lineup, from high-end restorations to affordable classics, all finding new homes.

The crowds swelled, especially during the peak second weekend, and it was heartening to see resto-mod cars and trucks continue to dominate the scene, with multiple Ridetech-equipped vehicles selling for impressive six-figure sums.
While early in the week, bargain hunters were able to snag some great deals, the energy kicked up from Thursday to Saturday. High-dollar restomods and modern exotics commanded the spotlight, often eclipsing traditional American muscle cars in price.

It was an exhilarating few days for us on the ground at Scottsdale, and we couldn’t have asked for a more exciting event to connect with fellow enthusiasts and showcase the Ridetech family.
