Ridetech 2025 SEMA Preview

Ridetech heads back to Las Vegas next week for the 58th annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 4.6 million square foot Las Vegas Convention Center plays host to the largest tradeshow in the aftermarket automotive segment, which sees over 160,000 annual attendees.

The Ridetech team has been hard at it innovating new suspension systems for both classic and late model automotive segments in 2025. This year Ridetech exhibits in Central Hall (a.k.a. Hot Rod Alley) from booth number 23577. Read on for what you can expect to see at the show.

Ridetech MOMENTUM Chassis Series

Ridetech has channeled over 30 years of suspension technology into their first full chassis with their MOMENTUM chassis series. This evolutionary step in the company’s history allows the brand to service an additional segment of the performance aftermarket.

Their first supported application in the MOMENTUM line-up is the 1968-1972 GM A-Body (Chevelle, GTO, Skylark, etc.). The ability to select desired suspension pick-up points allowed preferred suspension geometry, wider wheel and tire fitments improves front end grip, while the integration of rack-and-pinion steering ensures added driver confidence. All of these upgrades and more help you enjoy newfound grip in your classic A-body. MOMENTUM chassis are available on both coil-over and air suspension.

MOMENTUM Chassis Competing in OUSCI

Support for the 1964-1967 GM Chevelle/Malibu is coming soon in the MOMENTUM pipeline. While those are still a ways out, you can see one on track while at SEMA!. Long-time pro-touring competitor Tom Farrington recently installed a complete MOMENTUM chassis under his 1966 Chevelle and has already experienced a 3rd place class finish at the recently Barber Motorsports USCA event. The Farrington’s look forward to adding some more success to their program by competing in the OUSCI and Peak Performance Challenge at the event.

Second Gen GM F-Body MOMENTUM Subframe

The second generation GM F-Body is a fantastic muscle car, but the platforms suspension design is certainly antiquated at over 50+ years old. Ridetech recently expanded their MOMENTUM series performance subframes to include support for the 1970-1981 Camaro and Firebird, which greatly improves the performance, handling, and driver confidence behind the wheel.

The MOMENTUM subframe allows second generation GM F-Body builders the ability to enjoy the same optimized suspension geometry, wider wheel and tire clearance, increased rigidity, rack-and-pinion steering, and engine/trans swap compatibility as our first gen customers.

Ridetech HQ Coil-overs Support For NC Miata

Ridetech HQ Series coil-over have always been a great addition for those looking to add ride height adjustability and improve performance and handling to their ride. Ridetech’s recently expanded HQ Series coil-over support to include the 2006-2015 NC Mazda Miata.

Perfect weight distribution, lightweight design, and double wishbone suspension design at all four corners make this car a perfect tool for a curvy backroad, your local autocross, or weekend track day at the circuit.

Ridetech’s HQ series coil-overs offer a double digressive valve package which is great for improving handling and response in the NC chassis Miata. 24 position rebound adjustment allows fine-tuning of the ride quality and our design approach actually adds front and rear suspension travel despite lowering the vehicle!

Ridetech 2021-Up GM SUV Lowering Systems

Ridetech recently added support for the 2021-up full-size GM SUV line-up. Now owners of Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade can now enjoy a lowered ride height and improved handling.

The heart of system is the HQ-series coil-overs that utilize Fox Factory monotube shock technology, Hyperco springs, and 24-position rebound adjustability for fine-tuning the ride quality.

Ridetech front upper control arms and adjustable rear upper control arms keep things aligned at the new lowered height. Look for these in the Ridetech booth and in SEMA New Product Judging.

Ridetech RQ-S 1.5” Steel Body Shock Series

RQ stands for “Ride Quality”, representing Ridetech’s continued dedication to ride quality, while the “S” signifies the 1.5” steel body construction. These new 1.5” steel body shocks offer the tried-and-true Ridetech ride quality our customers have come to expect from over 30 years of suspension development thanks to their monotube design. They also feature 24-position rebound adjustability allowing you to dial in performance to your liking, along with heavy duty 1/2” shock shafts, all at an affordable price.
