This past week, several of the RideTech crew participated in the inaugural FM3 Road Trip: Cars & Cones event. This event consisted of a daily autocross and a scenic cruise to the next city, with another day reserved for touring the bourbon distilleries of Kentucky. Even though we were plagued by rain at a couple of the stops, the courses were still fast and there was much fun to be had! The amount of “autocross newbies” at this event was also phenomenal; it’s not very often you get to talk about sharing an addiction in a positive manner, but we’re sure these new faces will be popping up again and again in the coming months!
The Road Trip: Cars & Cones tour was fantastic. We made new friends, saw some gorgeous scenery, and had a great time. And as a matter of fact, if you’d like to sign up for next year’s Road Trip, you’d better keep your eyes peeled for registration opening…because every single competitor we talked to says they’ll be signing up again next year, too!
