It seems like the US has been hit with wave after wave of record high temps this summer (they’re telling us this week that we’re in a “heat dome”; I’m not sure what that is, but I know it’s warm!), but the RideTech train continues to haul its way across the country and take over every venue they find themselves at. This coming weekend will find us at the 8th annual Motor State Challenge, held at Gingerman Raceway and The Tire Rack HQ; the RideTech crew has held the Manufacturer’s Vintage Class title for three years running, and we’re looking forward to bring it home a fourth time…but the battle between Bret and Chris to see who gets it will be fierce!
If you were following along with us last year, you might remember that Chris and the 48-Hour Corvette took the win from reigning champ Bret and the 48-Hour Camaro by a mere 6 points. This season has shown us that Chris is even more in tune with the Corvette this year, so he’s a strong contender for this year’s win…but Bret really wants that title back, and the motivation may be enough to push him into the winner’s circle! Also happening this week is one of the biggest events of the year for the Ford community; it’s Mustang Week! RideTech Josh and his foxbody will be meeting Trent and the big rig in Myrtle Beach for this event. It’s our first appearance at Mustang Week, and we’re looking forward to meeting up with so many people who are so passionate about their brand! Coming up in just a couple weeks is the infamous Louisville NSRA Nationals show. One of the biggest of the year for us, for many reasons; and this year, with the inaugural holding of an autocross, it’s going to be even bigger! We’ll have a booth in the indoor area AND the outdoor area, and as in years past, we’ll be weighing hot rods for FREE in the outdoor booth. Why do we do this? Simply put, if you want to get the most out of your ride, you HAVE to know the corner weights. This can be crucial in determining what spring rate you need. Just pull your show-registered hot rod around to our scales and we’ll not only weigh your ride and give you the info, we’ll also inspect your current suspension and let you know if we see any possible conflicts. Your comfort and safety are important to us, even if you’re not using our products!
