Update 48

The latest 33 Ford update from the Driver, Bret Voelkel:

“The 33 Ford has seen some updates in August. In addition to the 18×12 Forgeline wheels we installed a few weeks ago, I had Tracey Weaver at The Recovery Room (http://recoveryroomrodinteriors.com/) build some proper seat pads for the aluminum seats. Before, I could drive the car about 15 minutes before becoming numb from the shoulders down. Now… you can snuggle in like a baby in your mother’s arms. One might think that this was done for cosmetic or cruising comfort only, but in reality a comfortable car is a faster car. And it IS all about faster, right? Tracey not only knows how to create interior artwork, he knows exactly how to make seats supportive and comfortable.

I’m not sure what The Recovery Room calls this leather…I call it “elephant scrotum”. [Remember this next time you go to the zoo or the circus] It fits the theme of the car perfectly… raw and purposeful… and the workmanship is just perfect. He even worked in our billet seat grommets (https://ridetech.com/store/aluminum-seat-grommets-set-of-5.html) Thanks Tracey…you literally saved my ass!”
