Street is Neat! 2023 NSRA Street Rod Nationals Recap

Over the weekend, we headed to Louisville, Kentucky, for the NSRA Street Rod Nationals. What started as a small gathering in a hotel parking lot in Peoria, Illinois, has grown into a massive show that brings more than 7,000 hot rods, muscle cars, classics to the Kentucky Expo Center.

Now in its 54th year, the Nats has become a pilgrimage for hot rodders of all ages. From Thursday until Sunday, every type of vintage machine imaginable flooded the fairgrounds. And, at its peak, there were cars as far as the eye could see.

At the Street Rod Nationals, there is truly something for everyone. Looking for high-end street rods? You’ll find them there. Or what about the latest Pro Touring machines? There’s a healthy helping of them there too. Barn finds? Restorations? Drag cars? Swap meet? Yes! You name it, you’ll find it in Louisville.

Just like in years past, we set up our fully stocked Ridetech booth in the Manufacturer’s Midway. We had a series of incredible Ridetech-equipped cars on display, including the “Mullet Missile” ’78 Trans-Am from Ryan’s Rod & Kustom, the Strange Motion ’65 Chevelle, and John Martin’s 454-powered Chevy OBS.

To keep the fun rolling, we also broke out the scales and weighed cars, which helped customers from coast to coast chose the right suspension system and settings.

We thoroughly enjoyed catching up with old friends and making plenty of new ones too. Thank you everyone who stopped over the course of the weekend. We’re already looking forward to next year at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals!
