The 1988-1998 OBS Chevy/GMC platform has become super popular in the last year or so and it’s been fun to watch them pop up in our feed, not to mention getting the chance to see some of the content creators in the space build out their own.
Recently our long-time automotive television host, builder, and paint professional Kevin Tetz has building out a 454SS OBS clone for Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage. One of the key ingredients in bringing this truck up to speed has been the Ridetech OBS suspension kit that improves handling and lowers the truck.
In this first episode of the series, you can hang out with Kevin, one of our own dealers, Rodney Prouty of Suspension Geek, and even get to see Derek’s first impression as they knock out installation of the rear portion of the kit.
Have a watch and stay tuned for the next episode where they complete the front installation!
