The Ridetech crew just returned from the 2024 Goodguys Columbus (Summit Racing Nats) with some fresh hardware! Our 1979-’93 Ford Mustang IRS Suspension System took top honors as Goodguys’ “2024 Best New Suspension, Chassis & Brake Product”! We’re honored to have been selected for the award, as it reflects positively on the amount of time, effort, and technology that our team has invested in this groundbreaking first-ever new product. Thanks to Goodguys, for the recognition and to those team members who have helped bring this project to reality for Ridetech customers.
The Ridetech team has a passion for engineering and manufacturing products that make cars and trucks sit lower, ride and handle better than ever. Through extensive research, development, and testing, we developed a bolt-in system that eliminates the OEM four-link and transforms the Fox into a corner-carving street machine.
Like our other award-winning kits, the ’79-93 Mustang IRS kit is compatible with Shockwaves and coil-overs. It pairs well with our E5 air ride control system, too.
The new IRS System uses shortened S550 (2015+) Mustang axles (not included), which are available directly from us. We also offer an optional adjustable-rate rear sway bar to keep the car planted in the corners.
Coincidentally we received the award just before we officially released the system. A ‘soft launch’ of initial systems were recently shipped out to patient customers and more are currently in production.
